At Sexualbeing.org, we don’t do overly technical speak, confusing charts or tables, or statistics that only mean something if you’re a math whiz. We just want to have a conversation with you about your sexual health. That’s it.
Sexualbeing.org is the District’s one-stop, comprehensive sex and wellness resource. No matter who (or what) you’re into, we’ll provide you with all the tools you need to have a happy and healthy sex life.
So, what exactly can you expect from us? We’re glad you asked.
Sexual Health Information
What’s the difference between Hepatitis B and C? What are the best lubes to use with latex condoms? Can you get pregnant while living with HIV? These are just some of the questions you might have when you’re taking care of your sexual health. We provide clear, easy-to-navigate answers for all of these and more.
District-Wide Resources
Are you looking for a health care provider to prescribe PrEP for you or give you a routine STD test? We provide a comprehensive list of caregivers in the District, including community-based organizations, clinics, and more. We also provide contact information for lots of services, including the District’s Free Condom program, a PrEP trial, and HIV testing throughout the city.
Your Stories
We want to hear from you. Whether you’re a black bisexual woman, single transgender man, or anything in between, we want to help you share your experiences with sexual health and connect with like-minded individuals in your community. If you’re interested, please visit our submission form and pitch a blog post you could write for us. We’ll follow up with you as soon as we can.
