WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT PREP
WHAT TO DO: GET PREP
PrEP is for people who are HIV negative and vulnerable to getting HIV. If you’re not sure whether or not PrEP is the right choice for you, check out this simple web survey that will help you figure it out. Once you’ve learned a little bit about PrEP, have a conversation with your healthcare provider. If you decide to try out PrEP, your provider will give you an HIV test. If you’re prescribed PrEP, it takes 7-20 days for the pills to be effective.
