It’s not exactly a secret that when interest in sex starts to wane, exposure to a new or novel experience has a way of bringing that sexual energy back. And what better way to keep that sexual flame alive than to go to an erotic resort for your next vacation? I recently had the time of my life on a trip to Temptation Miches and Desire Resort, and it re-ignited my sexual spark in multiple ways.
But before getting into the juicy details, here’s a quick rundown on the resorts, for those who don’t know about them:
- Temptation Miches Resort is the newest addition to its playgrounds for grown-ups (21+). The modern designed property gives guests a unique and unforgettable experience, emphasizing sensuality, relaxation, and entertainment. The resort offers edgy activities and shows with a dash of spicy content exciting theme nights and fabulous pool parties.
- Desire Resort (Formerly known as “Temptation Grand Miches”) is a couples-only resort within a short walk away from Temptation. This resort offers a high-energy environment for the confident, free-spirited traveler with an exciting nudist-friendly Jacuzzi Lounge, a topless optional pool area, a private playroom where couples can fulfill their kinky fantasies, and movie-worthy entertainment offering stimulating daytime activities and seductive theme nights.
It’s also important to note that both Temptation and Desire are not only all-inclusive in a literal sense (a resort that includes unlimited meals, snacks, and beverages at the cost of booking), but they’re also inclusive in a theoretical sense. Both resorts have a sizeable demographic of singles and couples who are in “the lifestyle” (an all-encompassing term that describes people who enjoy swinging or other non-monogamous activities that involve engaging in sexual activity with other people). However, there’s no pressure to engage in that, if it’s not your thing, as the resort prides itself on enforcing guidelines that make sure people’s consent and boundaries are respected.
Now, time for the details of my trip. The first night of my trip was admittedly very chill. My connecting flight was delayed that afternoon, so I showed up at the resort later than expected. Given that Miches is about an hour and a half drive from the Punta Cana airport, I felt tired and mostly wanted to get a good night’s rest. Looking back on it, I’m glad that I decided to sleep because the next two days were nothing short of action-packed shenanigans.
Side note: Once you exit the airport, on your left you will find the transportation services that you can book to get to Temptation and Desire
Day 2 of the trip was the extravagant celebration of Temptation’s first anniversary of the day they officially launched the property, and their birthday festivities did NOT disappoint. From late morning until early evening, there were thrilling activities at their so-called “Sexy Pool,” most of which got the attendees interacting.
In between the multiple social gatherings, I had the pleasure of winding down at the spa and received a 50-minute relaxing massage, created to pamper and provoke total rejuvenation by using gentle but firm movements, which, of course, made me feel calm and rested.
Side note: I encourage people who have any kind of massage appointment at a spa to pay attention to which pressures and sensations your body responds to the most. It turns out that the left side of my body is more sensitive to touch than the right side of my body. Interesting observation that I never knew before!
If I had more time that day, I would have also booked a reservation to receive the tantric fantasy couples massage, which favors creativity and increases your partner’s libido. Though I didn’t partake in the sexier massages myself, I did at least have the pleasure of seeing the way the rooms were set up and my jaw dropped to the floor at how detailed each room looked, with red and black color schemes, dimmed lights and rose petals throughout the mini jacuzzi area.
Pro tip: If you’re traveling with a partner and you want the ultimate massage experience, book the Rosé couples’ massage (VIP). It’s an indulging, therapeutic experience combined with Temptation’s VIP massage, and based on a blend of techniques such as deep tissue, reflexology, and hot stones, for the perfect tension release. In addition, you’ll both get to enjoy sweet delights, like chocolates, and a selection of kinky tools and accessories to play with.
Later that night, the Temptation’s birthday festivities continued at SHE, Temptation’s most immersive dining experience. This birthday event included a 5-course aphrodisiac-themed dinner and sultry performances taking place on stage by the resort’s entertainment staff. Afterward, some people in the crowd had the opportunity to practice their skills on the pole as a warm-up right before Temptation’s “First Temptastic B-Day” party, a white and pink themed soirée that displayed an array of sexy Dominican performances and celebratory fireworks that left the rest of us attendees on the edge of our seats.
On day 3 of the trip, the activities at Desire Resort stuck out the most. The day started with a song-guessing challenge by the pool and continued with a fun yet equally competitive topless volleyball tournament, followed by a bikini fashion show featuring the gorgeous women of the entertainment staff. In between these events, attendees either did some splurging at the resort’s souvenir shop (which sells sex toys along with sunscreen, I might add) or people grabbed a quick bite to eat at the restaurants nearby.
Pro tip: For lunch, I highly recommend eating at the buffet-style restaurant in Desire called “Tentazione.” Their perfectly seasoned, grilled chicken and white rice are so good that you’ll easily have 5 plates of that alone before getting started on the other food options.
Later that night, Desire hosted a steamy “Innocent or Guilty: Angels vs. Devils” party that had everyone showing off their red, black, and white outfits. After dancing the night away, the nightclub, the playroom, and the jacuzzi lounge at Desire were well attended as the main go-to areas for an impromptu after-party.
Side note: The activities and performances of the night change consistently, depending on the type of party. One day, you might be on the dance floor doing Latin dances like bachata or merengue. On other nights you might be strutting to a Madonna tribute hosted by the entertainment staff. Regardless of what the theme is, you can tell that the entertainment staff put a lot of work into preparing the activities and choreography for the musical performances.
Overall, I don’t feel the language barrier was an issue. I understand a bit of Spanish but not much, and sure there was the odd time when someone didn’t fully understand what I was asking for, but that didn’t cause any major heartache. Most of the staff appeared to speak and understand English just fine. All in all, I would like to return to the resort in the future if there are good deals. I had an enjoyable vacation, met many nice people, played a lot of fun games, had a lot of great food and drinks, and made some lasting memories.
