At sexualbeing.org, the District’s one-stop, comprehensive sex and wellness resource, we believe that sex is a natural part of being. And we’re not just talking about the actual act here, even though we know that’s the fun part. We’re talking about having open and honest conversations about sexual health and wellness.
Our goal is to make the conversation about sexual health part of the conversation about general health, because the two shouldn’t be separate categories. That means we talk about what to do if you think you have an STD, how PrEP works, where you can find free condoms, how to figure out your sexuality, and everything else you need to know to have a happy and healthy sex life. Plus, we’ll help you feel comfortable discussing these topics with your partners and friends. Because the more you talk about sex, the less you have to hide it— and the more you can just enjoy it.
We’ll do our best to give you the most quality, up-to-date information, but if you have an idea for our blog or a question we haven’t answered, please feel free to contact us.
Sexualbeing.org and its accompanying campaign is a project of DC Health’s HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STD and TB Administration (HAHSTA).
