OutLoud! LGBTQI+ Experiences in the Music Industry
Please join us on Thursday, March 11th, at 1 PM ET for “OutLoud! LGBTQI+ Experiences in the Music Industry” where eight prominent LGBTQI+ artists from around the globe will partake in an illuminating conversation moderated by the sagacious music journalist DJ John Murph! Co-presented by DC Jazz Festival and The Embassies of Finland and Sweden in Washington, D.C., and sponsored by The Corner at Whitman-Walker, this virtual event will see panelists discussing LGBTQI+ rights and collective experiences in the music industry. Participants will speak on the role sexuality and identity play in artistic development and expression, along with touching on the possibilities, challenges or boundaries they have experienced due to their backgrounds.
