JxJ, a multidisciplinary arts festival that encompasses the 30th Washington Jewish Film Festival and the 21st Washington Jewish Music Festival, will run its 2020 Virtual Festival from December 3-10. This historic collaboration will see the three area Jewish Community Centers come together for a programming partnership that celebrates Jewish culture and engages communities across the Greater Washington region and beyond. Each organization will lead a slew of talk-backs and artists Q&A’s centered on JxJ’s diverse programming.
The week-long event showcases over 30 programs including international cinema premieres, genre-spanning concerts, and live conversations with filmmakers and artists around the world. In addition to JxJ’s core programming, the Festival will offer Dinner and a Movie events, Virtual Brown Bag Lunch conversations, and the return of JxJ’s annual bar crawl Two Jews Walk into a Bar – presented virtually.
