Charles Muhammad (He/They) is a wellness facilitator based in Washington DC since 2018. They have been practicing yoga since 2012 and they have been teaching it since 2016. As lifelong athlete who has experienced anxiety, PTSD, and addiction, they have been on a journey of movement, self-study, and healing for over ten years, developing skills to apply to conditions in life.
Their teaching is inspired by vinyasa, Hatha, yin, cognitive science, and yoga history. They have also completed over 500 hours of training in meditation, yoga philosophy, respiratory science, anatomy, yoga for children, stress and anxiety management, and peer mediation. They have a passion for creating and facilitating work that prioritizes the well-being of Black and Brown people, especially those who identify as genderqueer, and their allies.
